Thank You Viewers!

I would just like to celebrate the huge success that Brix|Entertainment is starting to gather. Since the first release of Republic Commando, our fans have been extremely supportive, and have urged us to keep making new ones. All I can say to that is: thank you fans for all your support, and we will continue to make videos and films for as long as my computer can last before it breaks down.

Anyways, news on Republic Commando 4 is here. It is to be made on Thursday and Friday and hopefully released by Saturday. We have begun writing on the script just to let you all know, and we have been working hard to purchase the Lego, and set up all the animations.

Not much else I can say, but at least we have a lot of videos planned out down the road. I just finished the script for a Halo Lego video, although I have no comment on when it will be released. So please hang in tight, and wait for more videos, especially Republic Commando!

Thank you, have a nice day!

I Apologize

I have been very busy lately. Many of our co-procuders have been on vacation for some reason. I can assure you videos will keep coming your way when we make them. The co-producer and director of Republic Commando just got back from Florida so we hope to have RC 4 coming out soon. By the way, RC 1 has over 600 views since it's release.

I can assure you we are not finished making videos, and probably never will be. I have not abandoned this blog, I just need to get in the habit of writing on a consistent basis (i.e. posting in my blog). RC 4 is expected this upcoming week, so until then sit tight, our 4,000 viewers will hopefully enjoy themselves this weekend!

Little Update For You

Not much is happening lately. I didn't get a chance to go over to Alex's house last weekend (paintballing issues). RC 3 should be out soon, hopefully on Thursday. I have currently borrowed his mic, and am using it for other purposes.

We have just reached the 2k view point, and we encourage you to subscribe. We update our channel almost daily. There is not much I can do at the point. We're going to keep releasing episodes of RC.

Keep hangin' around and we'll bring you more of what you like. That's all for today.

RC 2 is Released!

It's here. The 73rd most funniest video in Canada voted by you! Republic Commando 2. We've kind of changed the format and platform of our show. Instead of one continous story line, we have different animations like Robot Chicken. If you want to watch it, it's right here for your enjoyment:

The whole thing at the end was recorded on GarageBand by Alex and I. We had fun playing with the mic and different instruments. Unfortunately our voices drown out much of the sound effects, like the booing at the end, the monkey noises etc. The next video should be out sometime next week. I've had to stop bringing you the normal silent stop motion episodes because WMM isn't working on my computer right now (it's very slow). I use iMovie at Alex's house. As soon as I purchase my Mac I'll be able to bring you more movies again with voices as well for you to enjoy.

Republic's Release

Today's the day! A few hours ago I just released the first episode of Republic Commando! I used my friend's Mac for the sound effects. I'm the voice that says "I got this. . .I got this giant box of Tic Tac." Anyways, every week we hope to release a new episode of RC.

The voicing was just improv. We had to start the film over, so we completely re-wrote it. Most of the sound effects were drowned out by the voicing due to the mic's sensitivity. When the droid is playing piano at the end, the screwed up version of Twinkle Twinkle, that was just garage band. I dubbed a whole bunch of different instruments over each other in the same tune.

For the cymbals I just hit random keys to get the sound we wanted. We went through several drafts until we got the sound we liked. If you listen carefully in the background you'll always hear one of us going "yay god or yay, oh yay".

The first Bionicle you see was actually sitting on the highway toll pass the whole time. When it junps down and says "Bionicle smash" that was actually Alex. I said it in the background although you can barely hear it. Instead of making you go to YouTube, it's right here.

If that doesn't work for you, here's the link: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=787Da7bJu2I. Next episode will hopefully be released next week. Have a great time.

Stop Motion has Arrived

Republic Commando isn't looking to good. The photos have been lost, and the mic has been broken. That will have to wait a while. But on the bright side, BE has just released 2 stop motion films.

In "Where's My Helmet?" a Republic landing strip guarded by 4 Clone Troopers is hit by a Droid Carrier causing all to die except for one Clone who loses his helmet then finds it.

In "Numbers Don't Count" two Rebel trainees are assigned a mission: guard the command post. Those pesky Imperials soon show up and kill both Rebels, but then they get run over by a speeder themselves. For the LEGOs, it's a lose-lose situation.

I am charging my camera, and it should be ready in about 15 minutes. I am going to make a film with a Y-wing on patrol. I have downloaded a whole bunch of sound effects which are really hard to find (surprisingly).

Soon I am planning to design the BrixEntertainment sight, where you can read news, watch our videos, or just chat in the forums.

Either way, have a great day!

See ya soon!

Republic Commando Begins!

I just got back from my trip which by the way was amazing. Today we began filming of Republic Commando: Isolation. I must admit, that may not be the title when the episode is released hopefully this weekend. The first episode is nothing really. I'm working on the script, and we have to begin to add the special affects.

Nothing extremely exciting happens in the episode. There's not many battles, or explosions. It's quite different from most shows really. It's four Clone Troopers sitting on a bench, that are "being tested" via human isolation and seeing what happens to them. They have funny conversations with one another, and constantly bicker.

I cannot guarantee when you will be able to watch it. We have not established a firm film schedule, and resources are all over the place. By the 4Th, or 5Th episode we should have things worked out and running smoothly. Hopefully we'll be able to release one episode every week.

I'm not the best writer, and I'm still working on things, so please be patient. I'm going to get a few people to help out with the script. I would release the episode now, but I prefer to make some improvements to it for your optimum viewing experience. My friend has a lot of software and hardware on his Mac that we are going to use to improve various aspects of the episode.

I am sorry to keep you waiting for so long, but at the worst, it should be released by Wednesday. Hopefully this weekend or sooner you will be able to watch it.
